It looks like the lighted objects do not cast any shadows.  Is this the case? If so, what is a simple way for an object to cast a shadow on a plane? Creating objects with projected vertexes? Excuse me for being to new to this.

According to this post:
http://www.java-gaming.org/cgi-bin/JGNetForums/YaBB.cgi?board=xith3d;action=display;num=1067774416
shaddows used to work in the Ase loader test showing a tank. I ran the test today and there are no shadows casted. Are they broken?

Well I fixed them at a certain point while actively producing demos for Xith3D, but then I went the C++ road and built a Java3D/Xith3D clone which supports robust shadow volumes.
I might go back and dig some of the old code, clean it up a bit and submit it, but that would have to wait until I come back from SIGGRAPH LA Grin

Love y'all

I must apologize for the lack of news regarding the matter as I'm overwhelmed by other projects as well as school that's starting wicked soon Cry
Here's a bit about what I've written in c++ (in Java fashion), I might just kick myself to do it in Java sometime soon    Smiley

heh. no prices there either. I don't want to contact anyone, and don't want to enter any mailing lists, don't want my email to be registered there, and don't want to be contacted eventually later by them or anyone that might get my email from them.
I just want to get an idea of the price of that wonderful thing.
I don't understand why SensAble hides its prices... Bah.
