OK, so some ****** moron designed Sun's "bug parade" interface, and thought themself really clever and stripped significant characters like ( and ) from the search. (I would have thought anyone with a braincell would have realised these are critically important for a flipping PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE BUGS system Huh).

Anyway, I'm trying to check what bugs are filed for NIO attach() method. Guess what? Rather a lot of bugs have the word "attach" in them, somewhere...so you get 19660 results. Wow, that's one buggy method! Wink.

Try advanced search / search help. No improvement, except that it ignores everything after the 237th match (don't ask me why!).

Tried searching only in keywords, but there's zero matches for "nio" and "attach" - does this mean there have never been any bugs on that, ever? Hard to believe. More to the point, keywords searches don't ever seem to match anything in the bug parade.

Help!

malloc will be first against the wall when the revolution comes...

Sun's bug database is indeed moronific! However, if you enter "+nio +attach" in the standard search, 'only' 240 hits turn up.

Still a lot to sift through, especially since at a first glance many of these weren't related to your problem at all...
