I used to play something called superdudes religiously and it was a great place for college students to compete as well as a great family enviroment for kids to play around. Its a kinda comic book site where you create your own id as a superhero and battle other players. You play games to win points and get new attacks.

This is a site alot less involved than superdudes but it is also very social with just as many clans and groups you can join. Invite your friends and you can all climb the rungs together and compete in a nice friendly manner trying to steal eachothers hard stolen, i mean earned, money. Its a great place to go play and chat without being obligated to spend alot of time at it.
