Java games rock!

Hi everyone, I am a new java programmer, and I need some help with Ant, I am using the java game book by David Brackeen, and I am supposed to use ant to compile all of m stuff. The thing is, I have no idea how to use it. I tried using the owner's manual on the website, but I thiought it was pretty confusing. I would also like to know how I can use it in Eclipse. Huh

Hi
There are numerous examples of ant scripts floating around on the net, for a really simple one download the ac3d loader for Xith3D from newdawnsoftware.com. I've not used them from within eclipse though.

I understand how to write build files and all of that stufff, I am just having trouble setting it up. I would prefer to be able to do it withing Eclipse. I do have ant downloaded, I need to know where to put the files and things like that.

I *think* eclipse has it all in there, check the eclipse docs, the following sections look helpfull

Running ant build files
Ant support
Ant config in eclipse
