It gets a little sad to come here searching for Java3D topics and see that 80% of the postings are about lwjgl.

Maybe the people interested in that API could ask the webmasters to create a forum just for lwjgl.

Again, no offense, i am not interested in that API and I come expecting to see only topics related to Java3D.

No offense as well, but I think you're completely wrong.

Look at the front page:

It doesn't say anything about being specific to the Java3D (no space) API does it?
And after all, this is a community web board.  Meaning if the community wants to discuss LWJGL in the Java<space>3D section, then surely there's nothing wrong with that... not to mention, how hard is it to scroll down and look for the non LWJGL posts?

No offence taken!  No, this forum is about all 3D programming in Java with respect to games.

As for a seperate forum for LWJGL - it's been proposed, but the admins either don't see the need or don't have time at the moment.  As there is possibility for confusion, I've started to prefix my subjects with "[LWJGL]", and I encourage others to do the same!

Feel free to post your Java3D questions however, there are a lot of Java3D programmers here as well as LWJGL ones - it's just that at the moment the LWJGL ones are a little more vocal!

This forum is for 3D game programming in Java. So there's nothing against LGJWL things here. But sometimes I feel there are topics that have nothing to do with gaming, 3D and Java but are pure JWJGL internal problems that belong to the appropriate sourceforge forum.

Anyway, we don't have thousands of messages per day so no real problem arises from the fact that internal LGWHGL topics are discussed here. Java3D people are easy off just to ignore them.
