Grrrrrr...

The following Project has been approved:

Quote
Battle Tatics Arena will be a game following the
"tatics" line, like Final Fantasy Tatics, Ogre Tatics,
etc. The main difference is that this game is more
online oriented, where 2 or more players engage in a
battle like a chess game.

It will use the Java3D API and the Game SDK for
Java3D.

A basic tatics game is: there are 2 teams, each
one  with 5 (or more) characters. Each character has a
class (Warrior, Archer, etc). Each player has a turn
where it will choose a character an peform an action
(walk, attack, cast a spell). The characters can rise
its level and habilities. If the leader is defeated,
the battle ends.

How long are these battles (in other words, how hard is it to defeat the leader)? If they are relatively short, I don't see the point of characters being able to rise in level since they game will be over before they reach any significant level.

Enjoy.

Also, I voted to approve this project because it seems like it's got a simple but flexible and extendable skeleton.

Enjoy.
