The following proposal:

Quote

Hi!

My name is Jacek Olszak and I'm an author of Olitext - project
which helps developers programming Interactive Fiction
(text-based) games.

Olitext contains:
* API for Java
* something like Virtual Machine (it's called console - gui in
which players run olitext games)
* tools which aid creating process (tasks for Ant, manager etc.)

The url address of official website is : http://olitext.sf.net
The page is in polish and english (but at the moment not many
tutorials are in english).

The current version number is 1.682 (it is stable, but some tools
included don't work in 100%)

Currently project is making by a few persons (3 translators, 1
tutorial writer, 2 project managers and developers):
Jacek Olszak - project leader; main developer
Michal Steiner - second project manager; game developer
Piotr Kalinowski, Michal Urban, Monika Liss - translators
Sean Hower -tutorial writer

P.S.  Sorry for my poor english:(

Best regards,
Jacek Olszak

There are java implementations of Infocom's famous Z-machine already.  What are your goals with this project?

After visiting the website:

Good:
    - It's already in developement and working
    - There's already documentatoin

Eh:
    - There's already Java based game engines in the MUD community that sound as if they are more fully developed.
    - The project is already being hosted on sourceforge.net; a larger and higher-traffic community, of course it's also more difficult to get attention among the many projects. Still, I wonder why the move to java.net.
    - I'd like to see (at least plans for) a room/character/event editor.

I would strongly encourage visits to the website, though I won't support project approval until there is more to show. Maybe it is simply lacking adequate documentation to illustrate how mature it is.

Are you really going to move your project over to java.net or do you just want a link off  the games site to direct people to your project?
