  Collision Detection of a shell hitting a plane  (Read 1947 times)

Java games rock!

I have two objects Plane and Shell, both have a method createScence() which returns a branchgroup of the geometry of both objects.

The plane is constantly moving, the shell is fired from a gun in an attempt to hit the plane.

I don't have any idea of how to start this, all I know is that I probably need to use WakeUpOnCollisionEntry() etc but I don't know how is everything is going to come together!

please share insight, and provide ideas!..

Use the picker instead of object collision.

Again, lookup the FlyingGuns sourcecode.

Houston . . . I have got a problem!!!!!

I would like to use WakeupOnCollisionEntry to detect if my spaceship runs into a planet... But I have always the same error because my varable simpleU.getViewingPlatform().getViewPlatformTransform();    

isLive() == true then when I try to set capabilities an error occurs. If Someone could help me I will be ready to diffuse my code. Cool
