When we run apps using our system on Linux, the cursor leaves a trail as you rotate objects.  We have had a similar problem on Windows 2000 for a long time, and we turn the cursor shadow off.

Is there a way to turn the cursor shadow off on Linux?  Does this symptom show a problem we have somewhere else?
