In order to ensure that all project proposals recieve the attention they deserve, new proposals will now be posted here along with a poll which will be used to enable members to vote on new projects.

http://games.dev.java.net/govern.htmlIn short, new proposals must provide a brief description of the project for consideration by the community. 3 "Yes" votes are required for a project to be approved. Any "No" votes must be accompanied by a reason for the vote and must be addressed before the project can be approved. Voting will continue for a minimum of 5 business days from the day the project appears on the board, after which the project will either be approved or disapproved. Once a project is a approved or disapproved the thread will be removed to eliminate clutter.
