Outside of the box is the way of thinking

Hello everyone!

Here's my very first game project: Multi Dominoes.

I made this game as the starting point to understand the engine I am using (jMonkeyEngine) and learn all the things I can do code-wise while I prepare for other, more complex projects.

Features:
- Play against 1 to 7 computer controlled players
- Play Draw and Spinner Dominoes with three and fives if desired
- Three table materials and tile types with two table shapes.
- Four languages: English, Spanish, French, German

I will add more stuff to this game with future updates like more game types and music to play as well as more device compatibility

You can get the game here for free

Amazon
Google Play

I welcome any feedback

Looks and feels nice. There is only one thing bothering me but it's a major problem. It's just that in some angles (like in your picture) it seems that the dominoes are floating instead of being in the table.

If I may ask, how long did it take you to make this game?

Thanks for the feedback

The tiles that are on the hands yes, they float so that the table space is available to the played tiles.

As for the ones that are already played, I am working on a way to have a shadow that does not affect performance. probably a quick solution will be a kind-of blob shadow to keep high compatibility

thanks  Grin

there is a Desktop version in itch.io for purchase.

I am also working on a port to android consoles such as OUYA and Fire TV.

I am selling the game at affordable price on consoles and desktop so I can get a good server and work on the cross platform multiplayer.

here's a WIP
