I don't have easy access to a Windows XP machine, but I've had someone mention to me that they can't get my Web Start client to load properly. If possible, I was wondering if anyone with XP could try loading it -- http://www.stardart.net/ @ "Enter the Testing Arena." Hopefully the game server is online and any potential testers could actually enter the game, but even if it's being grumpy you should reach the server selection screen which would be good enough an indication.

Except for the fact that theres not write cursor in the username/pw fields  Grin , it just worked.

No idea how to play, but technically it was fine.

I have yet to write some code in my textfield component for a cursor, I will get around to that one of these days  Wink And feel free to play away if you like, though I realize it lacks a help system at the moment.

The fact that two of you with XP could get in and one of my testers with a new install of the Java plugin and XP could not is sorta good because it means that it will work with XP, but also sorta bad, because it means I'm going to have to work harder to figure out the conflict.

"Write once, run most places, but where it doesn't run you're screwed because you don't have direct access to the underlying system"? Nah, too long for a motto Cheesy

It starts and then starts processing synchronization data but never returns. If that's what you were expecting, its working.

She builds, she builds oh man
When she links, she links I go crazy
Cause she looks like good code but she's really a hack
I think I'll run upstairs and grab a snack!
