Ahoy!

I am looking to prepare myself for the upcoming ludumdare, as well as get my creative sparks flowing. In order to do so, I need you guys' help! Please give me a topic in 3 words or less. Could be 3 different words, or a 3 word phrase.

For example:
top-down, space, shooter (If the genre of game or style is more than one or two words, that is okay.)
above the clouds
around the world

Feel free to participate. I am really just doing this for my own benefit. Wink
Deadline: soon as possible? Wink

Thanks!
- A

You can always look through the past LD themes. They will probably provide you with the most accurate representation of a theme that the next Ludum Dare will offer.

You won't get anywhere as a game developer if you only focus on the code.

Design has to have the most attention. That's just a rule.

Pick up newspaper, turn to random page, see which picture grabs your attention most. Use that picture as the basis for game art. Use the story itself as inspiration for the game mechanics. The headline naturally is the game title Cheesy

I can sort-of agree with that. But on the other hand, you won't get anywhere if you never focus on the code either.
