Been way too long since the last update, but game is still going full steam ahead. Currently 6 out of the 7 worlds are done, shops are being added for extra weaponry,etc.. and all in all this game will come with 50+ levels of chaotic action packed run and gunning! - and yes, checkpoint-saving is this time added so you'll be able to see it all!

Here's some new eye candy for you all:

As someone who loves Meta Slug AND pixelated graphics, I find this one amazing. I'm especially looking for local-op games like this. Voted on Steam!

So the release date is set to January 15th

and for marketing I'm trying out something new (and a bit different).  You can help out spreading the word for the game by signing up here:

http://orangepixel.nouncy.com/help-me-launch-gunslugs-2#/

It will then send out a tweet or facebook message on January 16th (when the game is fully released on all platforms)

Do you have an editor that builds the maps? If so they are very nice.

I spotted Gunslugs 2 listed under Editors Choice on Google Play, well done and well deserved!

the levels are procedurally generated Wink  no map editor was harmed in the process

Big sales spike?

Cas Smiley

it was short after release, so it's part of the release spike Wink
but it does make for nice long-tail sales (pretty sure it helps having it on the editor-choice page)

Hi FabulousFellini, welcome to JGO! I just want to point out for future reference, it's not socially acceptable to revive very old threads. The general limit is somewhere between 1-2 months.

Regardless, this is a great game, completely forgot about it! @orangepascal, how have release and sales been?

This game looks pretty sweet. It's a punch in the face for people who think Java isn't meant to be used to make games Grin

Regardless, this is a great game, completely forgot about it! @orangepascal, how have release and sales been?

It was my first PC release and first Steam release.. so it was a bit bumpy, but overall not bad.
learned some much needed info on what not to do, and what to do when it comes to PC games Wink

sales have been fair, not huge, but bundles and other deals made it more then interesting enough to stick with PC releases (besides my mobile releases)

@orangepascal just beat the game!  Great game.  That last boss was hard as hell and took me probably 20 times to beat!  So I just wanted to say nice job.

P.S. sorry @ra4King, I know I'm not supposed to comment on a thread this old, but I didn't see a need to start a new one to say it's a great game!
