Salutations, this is me.  Below is my game.

Fragile Soul is a new roguelike role-playing game in which you play as the soul of a hero that fell in battle a long time ago.
To avoid an eternity of damnation, the soul is forced to traverse dangerous dungeons in order to find the key to his salvation.
Explore the dark corridors and get ready to face fierce monsters that will try to prevent your soul from reaching peace. Cleverly plan each attack as only one hit will rend your attempt void.

Have a dollar (After the itch.io and paypal fees, I mean.)

The graphics for the game look rather polished. But there are some issues that I've already found by playing for just a while:
1) The map seems to cut out at extremely low (Towards the bottom of the screen) maps. I've had two of starting areas (Out of four now) appear in a region where the map isn't keeping track of anything (And at least one of those had the stairs in that area so it was a bugger to find them again.)
2) Visual indicators of damage would be highly appreciated as would some explanation of the health. Having stamina and then those shields, without explanation made me think that the shields were like "Defense Points" and the stamina was my health.
3) Instructions would be very helpful. In your post here you have what looks to be a tutorial, however when I played just now nothing was coming up.
4) Disable R (Jump down three levels) and Tab (Automatically die) or have some prompt. While I was trying to figure how to attack I had it pop a few times (Pressing buttons in sequence, then seeing the screen change and going "What did that mean?")

Considering this, I think he should raise his game to $3-5.

Reason being, people are pretty much just as willing to spend $3 as they are $1... and you wont lose a huge percentage to fees.

Reason being, people are pretty much just as willing to spend $3 as they are $1... and you wont lose a huge percentage to fees.

Maybe, I just don't want to overcharge since I'm an unknown developer and my game's not super deep.

#1 is a bug. #2, you don't actually have any health.  If you get hit when you've got no armor, you're dead.  I suppose I should add that to the tutorial as well.  #3, I'm not sure why the tutorial didn't come up for you, as it seemed to work just fine when I tested it.  I'll re-check it to see if maybe I did something incorrectly.  And #4, I'll probably have some toggleable option for a prompt, as I don't want to interrupt any flow the player has with doing runs multiple times in a row.  Or maybe add something in the Event Log that tells you you're about to do it and you press it again to confirm or something.

EDIT: So it turns out I'd literally just uploaded the wrong version, my apologies!

No worries! I'll try it out again a bit later today (Probably in the lulls during the open house I have to participate in in the afternoon!)

Update: 1.0.2, 1.0.3 & 1.0.4
  • Added death popup
  • Added confirmation to skipping floors and giving up
  • Added paralysis and stun status effects
  • Game now displays what status effect you have
  • Fixed mostly unnoticeable bug with enemy AI
  • Fixed enemy attack range disappearing under the player
  • Rewards screen damage dealt now accumulates properly
  • Dungeons can now generate in two different styles and have additional custom elements that can appear in them
  • Stairs make sure the player can get to them wherever they spawn
  • Fixed game crashing when journal was selected
  • Added percentage per section display for log
  • Updated some items
  • Updated the tutorial
  • Added sanity system

Added a new free key, get it before someone else does!

Been a while, but I haven't been inactive!  There have been substantial changes for v1.0.5 to v1.0.9, and listing them all would be... unwise, maybe.  You can check out the full changelogs here: http://www.dragonadventureent.tk/forums/showthread.php?tid=18

Added intro
Added knockback
Added mana bar
Added basic system for staves and wandsc
Added configurable charge buttons and drop item buttons
Added basic system for staves and wands
Added rename.jar to update the launcher itself
Added sound effects for the different weapons
Added controller support to menus
Added + and - display on enemies to show the elemental effectiveness of your weapon
Added enemy defense display
Added destructible walls
Added ability to drop items

Changed game icon
Changed minimap so it's bigger
Changed attacking with no weapon (costs sanity and has a 1 turn cooldown)
Changed picking up items so it doesn't increase score (only purchasing chests does)
Changed starting gold so it doesn't contribute to how many delta coins you gain at the end
Changed inactive weapons (they now lose cooldown too, though 3 times slower)
Changed switching weapons (leaves the now-active weapon with a 1-turn cooldown)

Fixed chests spazzing out to get items when they get into view
Fixed bug with going to the next floor while still moving

Fragile Soul has also made it to the front page of itch.io!

On top of that, I've updated the free key so you have another chance to grab a free copy!
