Yeah, saw that one on FB. One of the few internet jokes I actually lol'd about.

How am I? Tough question, since emotions are confusing as heck Tongue

Not directly a programmer joke but still quite golden.

he means: in screen space Z is depth, by definition, while in world space you can make up your own rules. which implies that whether 'Z is up' or 'Y is up', does not affect whether we name the depth-buffer the Z-buffer.

Oh I see thanks. I always thought that the 3D coordinate system determined the name of these things.

A guy walks up to a programmer with a jar in his hand

"I can't open this jar!"

The programmer responds, "Try installing Java"

I'm just spewing horrible jokes now...

A programmer gets a sandwich and his friend asks for a bite.
The programmer responds with "Signed or unsigned?"

-----------

A man renowned to be very wise is asked to hold two objects.
--He must yell if one of the objects they place in his hand are hot.
Another man places a burning hot ball of metal on his left hand.
--The man doesn't say anything.
The other man continues and puts a cold object in his right hand.
--It is at that point that the man yells.
His friend asks him why he didn't yell when the hot object was placed in his hand at the beginning.
--The man responds by saying "I am only a bitwise."
Very punny.
