Hi everyone! So a month ago I released my first android game Zombie Cubes on Google Play. The game has been a succesful for me personally with over 10 000+ downloads and over 200+ five stars ratings, but I would like to try and take it a little further. I don't have any game reviews or news articles about it on any android game popular site, but was wondering if you guys think that I should try? Most of the popular sites requires a little fee for it so which site would be best then? Smiley Thanks for reading!

Paying for a review seems shady to me. Maybe you can offer free copies to them? Another option is to run around the internet yourself and ask the smaller-time people for reviewers, maybe through them a bigger guy will pick you up. Smiley

But paying for reviews in my opinion, is dishonest. Unless the reviewer (and yourself) are willing to take a 100% dead-honest review regardless of how much money you give them.

It's useless but also harmful for bigger picture. When you pay for review you are saying for those  "reviewers" that what they are doing is ok.

I dont think he was looking for a lesson on the morality of paying for a review?

Ray's. Idea seemed like a good one to me, maybe give out free copies to game reviewers on youtube, alot of free advertising to be had there. Also have you tried advertising? It would definetly get a shallower look into your game than a full blown review, but maybe it's the right way to go.

Yeah, I have mailed many different sites about it, but will focus on smaller indie players on YouTube now Smiley I also tried advertising on Reddit, but that didn't yield so well Smiley
