Hi guys! My name is Alexandre Rey, I am a 3D artist. We have been developping this project with my french team for a few months.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/pktWBxxqAvQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;start=" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/pktWBxxqAvQ?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;start=</a>

This game is a kind of mix between Skyrim and Minecraft.
Getting the feedback of your community is really interesting for us.

Thanks a lot guys!
I' m sorry  if you didn't understand, the picture is a concept art (it's written on the website and in the trailer)
But this is exactly what we want to get in-game.

the potential of this "6-shapes-blocks design" is huge. We have to develop it again and again

I will give you more details soon

Anyway thank you for your support^^

Just wow! in terms of reaction to the video.
Please tell me you're going to actually have 6-sided cubic planets because that would be quite fun!

This looks awesome. Even if it doesn't live up to the concept art it will still be an amazing game.

looks really nice, just curious about the technical aspect, what game library/engine you using to make the game? or is it something custom you've rolled up?

Oh my god! I did a big mistake in the title: Open-world  (not open-source)
sorry for that. Yawn

Anyway thank you for your support!
Our developpers work with C++ / Ogre.

Of course our solar system will be composed of severals 6-sides cubical planets.
And we are presently working on what kind of "people" will live on the others planets

Sadly, your topic has been moved to the Misc board, due to not being in any way related to 'java gaming'. Emo

Well things go where they go right? Guess they are just trying to increase awareness of their work however that does not mean they should post it on irrelevant forums, the world would be chaos.

Even though this is sadly not java, this is how voxels can and should be done. Voxels do not mean CUBES only. Wish people would get that by now.

Digging the style though. Very very consistent. Something that I would very much enjoy. Keep up work and try getting steam green light going.
