Hello there.

I would like to introduce you to the stress-ball of a game, Vehicular Fun. Made in 2 days with MERCury.

This game is made in MERCury, showing the best of all the engines features such as lingering particle effects, easy to use shaders, simply made graphics, etc!

This game is made for 2 (+1) things:
- To simulate a FBPs* game: GTA5
- To be my personal stress ball
- To demonstrate MERCury

It so far is just a punch-em-up, with a retro feel (NOTICE DA FWIKKIN CRT SHADAH!) to it.

Jar File (Multi-Platform)

<WASD> - Move
<SPACEBAR> - Punch (referred to in code as KAPOW)
<Q> - Lower kaPowr
<E> - Raise kaPowr

Go ahead, play it, mod it, and let me know what you think. This is for you guys.

You have some serious stability issues with Mercury.

After a minute, things started lagging and within 10 seconds, my computer was unresponsive.

It took 2 minutes, and a pkill -9 (which if you don't know, is bad to use and is a last resort) to close it. Angry

You have some serious fixing to do.

I just ran it and it crashed too.
Double crap.

I will fix this soon, but not tonight. Have to go to bed.

I dont like the collision, I think it should be down to the pixel accurate, (do they call that per pixel collision like everything else these days?)

Well, I fixed the game breaking flaw: too much blood. I ran it for about 3 mins with no crash, so I think it is fixed. Also added in CRT monitor effect (screen bending).

If it still crashes, tell me a bit more info on what happened before you did it.

Not pixel-perfect. I will probably just set a radius of collision.

Vehicles coming soon!
Plus a bigger map.
