Hello guys!

I developed this game for the last two months as a new-year-app for my friends. But now i would like to know what you guys think, since this is my first big released application and because i started with java exactly one year ago (bought myself a java book as christmas gift (ok, i did some Processing before)).
I published it on facebook for now where you can download it and find more information and a demo-video: https://www.facebook.com/DesktopBob2014
Here is the direct link for the download: www.apps.domizai.ch/?app=DesktopBob&get=download

So, the idea of the game is pretty simple. It's a jump and run game where you have to 'eat' the letters in the right order as fast as possible.
And you play it directly on your desktop, which is actually the main idea of the game. Therefore you can use your folders as a platform to jump on.
And yea, its only available for mac osx users (hope i'll not get a lot of boos now  Undecided)
You also can save your score into the ranking database, which should make it more interactive with other users, i hope so.

Enjoy!

Lol,
I'm sure you'll get a windows port soon!  Wink

Looks like a fun one and adding a high score will definitely draw players in.

Get krackin and get it ported so I can play it!

Life is just a game, learn to play!

@Mads: I'm using the Runtime class to run osascripts for executing Mac-Finder functions. For instance to get or manipulate folders sizes, positions and other stuff. cheers
