I think that this is an amazing guide! It is well structured, and helps you understand from an early start if the game is worth making. Great read.

It's all about getting time management and not getting distracted spending days on something that wont add significantly to the game.

Isn't that essentially like scrum? Make epic stories, break it into stories, break stories into tasks, prioritize everything and put points on stories and hours on tasks.
