Hi!
This is the first time we (there are two of us) show our project to bigger audience.
So what it is?
Few months ago we decided to learn how to make games. Before that we have made only some ugly prototypes. Best way to learn is to make something, but what? Every game developer shoud make his own pong (right?)! So we started our own. After making playable pong in libgdx (using box2d) with single and multiplayer we decided to add more game modes. One of that modes was music mode. That mode took next few months of development and became biggest thing of the game (probably throwing out initial pong modes from the game would be good move).

We want to release game when at least 4 levels will be done. We will add next levels in updates if someone will play it. At the moment we have one and a half of level. If you know some music that fits game (mix of dubstep and chiptune would be the best) let us know in comments! Don’t forget to leave your feedback about the game! Check out the video (LASERS at 1:25!).

Also we are looking for slow (at least at the beginning) Ambient/Chiptune track like Dustforce – “9-bit Expedition” for first level.

This looks(/sounds) seriosly awesome.

Will the game be for free or will it cost something? (And if so, how much?)

Graphics look very cool and polished, but this looks really similar to Bit Trip Beat:

Yes, the gameplay is the same, but the music and graphics seem (to me) 10x as good!
Keep up the good work!  Cheesy

We know that game. Also there is Pong Beats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=727BqbTDN4k
Like wessles said, gameplay is similar (but we have some unique features in gameplay, and we are thinking about few more).
Also we don't use music specially made for game but tracks that sounds awesome for us. And lasers are always awesome! Cheesy

Game will be free (with ads on menu and pause screen). Initially we will release it on android with 4 free levels included (1-5 minutes long each). After that we are going to release update with 4 more free levels. If game will be popular we will release more lvl packs (maybe some as IAP for 1$ that buying remove ads) and release it on ios.

It's really cool that you like graphics because I'm horrible graphic designer and aesthetic, clean graphics is all I can get from my algorithmic mind.

Almost everything that we need to release it is already coded. The biggest problem is to find music and create levels. It takes really long time. But comments like that gives a lot of motivation so I'm sure we will finish it soon Smiley
