@titoasty

I'll be installing Ubuntu this sunday (Had to make more backups if in sense anything goes wrong). Did you change any source or is it the previous version?

I get a crash under Windows XP 32 bit on the latest build (2013/10/24):

Command Line Output:
http://pastebin.com/y1WbynKF

Relevant part of hs_err_pid.log:
http://pastebin.com/tr7dVCCQ

The error.log just said about the OpenAL device not closed thing which I don't think is relevant.

Ok the error.log is not relevant, I'll investigate on the other error.
Is the error systematic ?

I uploaded a new version, removing the BitmapFont causing the crash (but why?!?!) because it was useless.
Tell me if it's ok now !

@titoasty The error was systematic, and still is.  I just downloaded the latest version from the link in your initial post (there wasn't a version number but it was a different file to the previous one) but I just get the exact same crash with the same error.

@matheus23 You think it was by accident but really you wanted to give it to me.

@titoasty

I've compiled for linux too. Here is the binary. http://www.weebly.com/uploads/2/7/9/6/2796142/libpathfinder.so

And for the final version, I can package the app for the mac with a mac .app and .dmg if you want.

@RobinB @opiop65 Thanks for your words !!! Smiley I will update the presentation to make it more appealing and more verbose about the game.

@SHC thank you so much, you will again be in the credits ! Smiley it's far far from the final version but I keep your help in my head for a near future.

I will now concentrate on the gameplay mechanisms.
The LAN was functional a few months ago and didn't change anything sooo in theory it sjould work. I'm gonna test all that part and make it totally playable !

@titoasty

Will you build the jar with the new linux binary? I think we should test it before release. Also to note, that binary is 64 bit one. I don't know how to compile to 32 bit with gcc on 64 bit ubuntu.

I'm currently trying to package the new linux library.
And also installing winXP & ubuntu 32 bits for new tests.
Could you please send me the process you did to compile for linux ? So I can easily do it on ubuntu 32 bits.
Thanks again !!!

I'm still getting the exact same error. This is the link in your first post that I'm meant to be using right? As in  http://clashtune.blogspot.fr/p/downloads.html this one?

Hmm damn, I just tested the game on windows xp 32 bit and no problem. And I totally removed the BitmapFont...

Exactly, so I'm lost as to how I can be getting the exact same error. The error itself doesn't make much sense to me unless (highly improbable) there is a bug in the libGDX side of things. My graphics driver is a beta driver but I've never encountered any bugs with it whatsoever, and I've actually programmed bitmap fonts myself. I don't know exactly how LibGDX does it but I presume it uses Pixel Buffers and glBitmap() both of which work on my system. So I'm at a loss. Might even take a peak at the LibGDX source later to see just what's going on.

@quew8

This error may not be with his code but maybe an older version of java or something (Am not clear too). Could you try updating your JRE or re-installing it and check if the issue is gone?

As it happens, an update for Java just came trough to me and I installed it in between tests so I don't think that's it. Having looked at the LibGDX source, the method generating the error is implemented in native code so I think the problem is there not in the OpenGL implementation. So maybe I'll see about compiling the LibGDX libraries myself and see what happens. Maybe.
