Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a RTS called "Clash Tune".
The main idea is to have customizable armies, so you can create units like in any rpg game, with a skill tree and all stuffs.
The game is in heavy development and at an early stage.

GUI totally changed and network much more stable !
Lots of improvements and bug fixed

* 2014/02/10
Graphics updated and matchmaking server.
Try "internet" in "clash !" menu and meet other players !

* 2013/12/19
Major Graphics & Physics improvements !
- new physic engine, hand-written and totally deterministic
- soft cel shading & bloom
- new volumetric grass
- and other fancy graphic stuffs


* 2013/12/06
Network now seems stabilized !
- better stability and synchronization
- auto-adaptation to network latency
- some new fancy effects (eg. cel shading) and more to come


* 2013/11/12
Still in heavy network development !
- new synchronization screen when waiting for other players
- you can now add grass in map editor


* 2013/11/03
Now entering in network tests. Help wanted & appreciated !

- new ui still in progress
- lots of major network bugs fixed !

Linux support available !

- new ui in progress
- some major bugs corrected

Graphics update !

- shadows & lighting system

* 2013/10/11
- Mac version !!! Thanks to SHC, the game now works on MacOS. Woopee !
- simple shadows (waiting for shadow mapping in libgdx soon...)


* 2013/10/10
New build arrived !

Major changes :
- 3D replaced 2D
- new army editor
- added blocks editor
- new ability : you can stack units (to create vehicules, horses, or stupidly high stacks)
- lots of bugs and improvements
- still a looooong way to go !

Judging from the screenshot this looks really, really cool (not talking about the sprites, tho, I know those aren't yours).

I tried your game and it looks cool  Cheesy  By the way, the names are mistaken (when I click an archer in the description appears footman and vice versa).

There is a map editor in the game.
Just go in "editor..." from the main menu and that's it ! Smiley

Looks cool and promising! Some tips: let the camera scroll by ASWD as well and please make the barrack units unconfusing(footman, archer).

Very nice, ive noticed some random crashing though. When I either spawn lots of enemys or try to delete grass it sometimes just closes.

there is an error log generated, don't hesitate to send me the file !

you mean when you reinforce the squad ? in this case, I create a new object each time. what makes you say that ?

Oh they are squads sorry I thought they were individual. Ok ill send you the error log. Very nice game though would love to see it finished. Maybe add civilians and upgrades? that would be epic!

I'll add a neutral army, like in warcraft 3 or LoL.
Upgrades are planned but not for now, it will need some work in the army editor ! Wink


I am currently changing sprites to block meshes, and working on the editor. So a major update will come with full 3d units and buildings !

yes, all the "unknown" block meshes are drawn with black&yellow cubes.
a big update will come in the next few days, with.. trees ! Cheesy
and a whole new army editor !

nicely done! The UI is very fluid and the map editor is really straight forward.  On the graphic side, all the game units are drawn as sprite instead of the 3D objects, is there any setting to change that?

You mean "game units" drawn on the UI, not in game ? They are sprites created from blocks.
