So the reasons LOY was how it was were totally intentional. It's a mobile game, you want to be able to put it down instantly and pick it up instantly. Turn based suits that very nicely.

I'm am looking at whether I want real time multiplayer or not but I sort of feel like it wouldn't be Legends then. Also multiplayer games lose some of the epic feel of LOY unless they're MMORPG - and I'm not going there Wink

Cheers,

Kev

I like how this just turned to LOY2. It used to be Sub-pixel animation, no?

Sorry, maybe multiplayer games lose something in story mode (depends on game I think, NFS is something else than LOY), I think it would be awesome to play this game on the Ouya with other people.

If you want it or not, think at least about a battle mode, where I can destroy my 1-(3/7) friends in an arena Tongue

All the games I like to play have/are multiplayer, I just like to play against friends, and not ONLY against a computer or the ONLY thing you can do in a game is saving a princess. Multiplayer is never over and always fun, I mean smashing your friend down is always fun (and there are always other opponents, especially if its via internet).

Well, good luck anyways.

As RPGs go, I'm a fan of "real time you can pause at any time and give orders".  But it's definitely something that has to be designed in, so if the design is turn-based, turn-based it's gonna have to be.
