Hey Everyone,

I have another game in the works that i have been working on for the past month. The theme is a Medieval(Hence "Bitieval") Futurist Style Game. The aim of the game is to level up fighting your way through missions etc. I am trying to think of ways i can make it feel different than a regular Dungeon Crawler. I got some compliments from the man himself KevGlass (Creator of Legends of Yore) who said he liked it. I plan on working on the game for quite sometime until its ready. I will be releasing an applet version soon just to test it out and see what people think. Down below are some screen shots of the game.

{UPDATE}

The class selection screen is something i really wanted to add to the game.
At the moment there is only one character "Mage" but i want to add different characters with special abilities of themselves

When you first start out you spawn in the "Rikar Village, in the Lands of Rikar". As you progress through missions you go to different lands with harder missions.

The final screen shot i have is the first dungeon in the "Lands of rikar" showing the BlackMage.

The game has a few other things i haven't showed here but you'll see in the future.

Also could you give me some feed back, I know its hard because you can't play it at the moment. but just tell me what you think.

                                                        - UPDATE -
hey guys,

i have some updates on Bitieval Archas. Some pictures below so check them out. Right now i don't want to release it for some alpha tests yet. so you'll just have to take my word for it for atleast now.

So yeah since the first update i have added a TONNE of stuff. new enemies worked on a tile editor for creating levels etc. I have really really epic music for you guys to hear very soon. I will be making some sort of mini trailer for the first major build. The music is being created by a guy called "lactha" he makes some really cool music. I have another guy called Waezer creating the levels/design. I have finished the first level of missions for now with a boss fight at the end with some cut scenes. I actually have a story line planned so you'll just have to wait and see for that. I got rid of the leveling aspect to the game. i now have different villages to go to as you progress through the levels. and in each village/land there will be shops containing better items/upgrades that you will gain for your  character for example macro effects like rain of arrows or something like that. I plan on showing more and updating this page a lot more on the status of the game. So come back here to check for more.

Also i might have forgotten some things. ill added them in if i had. But anyway here are the images.

New Shops(no npcs just yet):

Here is the quest NPC in the first village who will give you your quests. "It works great" There will be new one every village.
Also in the villages there are npc's walking around i just didn't capture any in the screen shot.

Here i have another enemy to show. (Not showing all of them just yet)
as you can see i have changed a lot with the look of the game tiles:

and finally here is a boss. This boss has random movements with special attacks and abilities.
There is also a cut scene for this boss with dialogue.

So yeah i hope you like the theses images of Bitieval Archas So far. I know you can't really say much right now until you play it but i hope you'll like it.

PS SORRY FOR SUCH LARGE IMAGES.  Smiley

Nice low-pixel textures, but really nothing to say yet.

Believe it or not I never knew about LoY before someone told me in a live stream I had whilst making the game.

Wow this looks awesome I love the art style and that lighting is very nice Smiley It's odd your game hasn't had more attention on here!
