Hello. I've been looking around for a program that can show me the CPU and GPU load when inside a game so I can identify bottlenecks while playing in fullscreen. I found a lot of tutorials for getting MSI Afterburner running together with HWiNFO64, and although the overlay shows up in DirectX games I don't seem to be able to get it to show up in my own LWJGL-based games. Does anyone know how to get it working? Or is there a better (well, functional) alternative? What confuses me is that the overlay shows up fine on some Youtube videos of Minecraft like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeUSkaZ4_t0

I use EVGA Precision X although with two monitors, I've never had a need for the OSD with one game running on the left monitor and the GPU + CPU stats running on the other. You can try using it though?
