This forum doesn't seems to be very active but I'll still ask. I have an implementation of the Game of Life in Java3D but I want to start out with a certain pattern of alive cells a cylindrical pattern to be specific. Game of Life is based on cellular automata which is just a 3D grid of cells in this case.

I know this question is pretty specific and it might not be the right forum but any help is appreciated, or if anyone could redirect me that'd be great too!
