So a while back I posted a menu screen of a game I was working on but it ended up dieing. Well...I am revising it but this time using libgdx. I am currently working on lots of artwork for menus/backgrounds/animations/particle effects I am not sure how I want to do animations and what my budge will be on them. (32x32 64x64 etc) I am also, trying to figure out how to use libgdx at the same time. Here are some mock ups of different themes I am testing out to get the style down better.

Still very much WIP on the space background but I am trying to get one that looks good enough to star at for a while.

Can you tell me where you found a tutorial about libgdx scene2D? Are you even using scene2D? And where did you get the Skin? Did you draw it yourself? If yes, can I use it to test out stuff? Or is there somewhere a default skin?

And btw, I can't see the pictures. They just don't show for me. (Just a suggestion: Imgur always works for me.) Smiley
I don´t see any mock ups. Just me or is something amiss..?

EDIT: Just found out, Right click -> Open Image in new tab works Smiley (Probably images are too large?...)

(Wierd... the "img, /img" didn´t even show up in the post. I had to "quote" the post for the imagelinks to show.  Huh)

Really nice! A nice looking mock up really does wonders for the mood when you´re working on something. Smiley

Changed to Imgur. I think they were too large maybe?

Mock ups as in this is just me testing menus out not actually in libgdx yet. Trying to get a feel for how things will be placed before actually placing them.

Libgdx tutorials are impossible to find and when you do find one it was from 2010 which makes it useless. I am using scene2d for UI.

That is what I have glanced over to get an understanding of how it works and I am following all the documentation which is not to bad.
One thing that kept me from libgdx ui stuff is the lack of a default skin. So I am just making one from scratch. Buttons, panel, and a few other things are done but need a lot more. Make them as I go. I could send you what I have if you want but they are just images and not an actual skin you can feed gdx.

I wish I had more time to work on this as I am really enjoying it but school takes up lots and lots of time.

Updated the planet. Trying to get it more realistic as it is the main focal point of the game.
