+ & - Speedup or Slow down the algo
F9 Capture Screen, saves to %USERHOME%\Voltage\sc*.png

Based on Conway's Game of Life.
The plan is to add more "levels" to it,
so that it will actually be 3D GOL.
Not just 3D Rendered

What's the pattern going to be for living/dying cells.

I hope your not using the standard B3/S23 (born with 3 cells, survives with 2 or 3 cells) because that would have terrible results in a 3D world where there can be up to 26 surrounding.

I was thinking about doing this a few months ago, but never got around to it.
I'll be watching this... Stare

Currently i'm using the standard conway algo.
But i'll refine this tomorrow, when i get around to it at work Tongue

Got any ideas for a new pattern?

I was thinking something like
5 live, 8 new cell.
Less than 5 or more than 8 will kill the cell

I'll experiment with this tommorow...

There are several known rulesets for 3d life.  You can play with different ones here: http://www.ibiblio.org/e-notes/Life/Game.htm
