In the past couple of days this site seems to be loading slower then it normally does. None of my other websites are doing this.... Is this also true with anyone else???

No, the problem is on your part. This site has always been extremely fast for me, even though I have an internet connection on the lower half scale of decent, and it loads lightning fast.

If you look at the bottom of the page you can see how much server time it took to generate the current page.

JGO is the most fastest site to load on my daily after google. I think it thanks to SMF. The only slow down is when I lose my cache and have to reload that side game thumbnails. FYI my downlink is 7kbps, REAL! Measured with software, feel, and bill  |

also thanks for good sense of placing ads. At least they're reasonable to see (because it's puppy games) and not a 800x600 screen centered flash animation.

I am using chrome and i just tried it on internet explorer and it seems to work fast (as it used to on chrome) ... I dont think i have any chrome extensions that is slowing the browser down... :/ still not sure what the deal is

I've noticed the site being slow at times on Chrome as well, it doesn't happen often but every few days it will take a lot longer to load the pages than usual for the majority of the night.

Well, could be due to some leak in the way chrome handles the javascript that runs on the site. I've had the same problem on a couple of other sites that used ajax.

I can't do much about it I'd say, don't worry. While moving around I have different sorts of internet connections and with some the site is very fast, and others it's very slow. I'm pretty sure it's more a question of the connection than the site itself. At least that is my analysis. |
