ChrisM: I sent you a PM a while ago asking about whether you could get this hosted on one of your lab machines, yet havn't heard back. I can only guess you don't check your messages

Is there any word either way on that? Without a server I get a nagging feeling that I'm wasting my time, and I don't have the spare hardware to set one up myself.

Sorry  Not ignoring, just off getting other things done.  Ok...we need to check with Sun internal policy on this to get access to the lab.  Will post back in a day or 2.

P.S.  Just trying to get ready for GDC, would be great to have this up and running on an in house server and YES , I know you asked for access.  Let's re-open the discussion.

With uni exams and such, theres not been any progress made for about a month. I'd really like to continue with it, but V-Script kinda demands a lot of time at the moment, what with it being my final year project and all.

Perhaps a good idea would be to open it up as a project on java.net, so kul_th_las and anyone else who wants to help can make some progress?

I'm all for drafting a design document so that there's some guidance to the project, if it's going public that is.

Of course, if you're simply too busy, and the project basically gets dumped on the public, with no leadership whatsoever, don't be surprised when no one jumps on board.

Again, I'm very interested in supporting this project, but we need someone who can act as a project/technical lead. If you (Orangy) can act in this role in addition to your university studies, then pleae say so.

Just a screen shot that Orangy Tang posted on the forums quite a while ago. Haven't heard anything else on it since. He mentioned being bogged down with university studies. The semester probably isn't over until May or so...
