Hey guys just a thought here, since we're all java programs here why not make an android app for this website? It could be done open source so everyone could contribute. What do you guys think??

Since JGO use SMF, I dont think there's any API so you need to ask for high access, database/SQL query

That, or your app renders the pages like usual but strips the HTML attributes until nude to take the contents.

I'm only suggesting this because I often find my self using this website on my phone and it is poorly formatted for a mobile device so I figured it would be a good idea.

Why would you need an 'app' for a web page? Android phones already have perfectly servicable browsers. Serving up slightly modified html / css for mobile user agents should be good enough (although I'm sure Riven has better things to do).
App-ification of everything on the web is going to slowly kill the *proper* web at this rate.

@OP: you may be inspired by other site apps. Well bad format shouldnt be the only reason. You want an app of it (mainly) because you need background notification for topics you follow.

Hehe I had this same idea a long time ago when I was thinking of using JGO on my phone. Then I noticed how well it rendered and worked in my phone's browser and the idea quickly trashed itself

I only had that in MSIE. It's some SMF event handler screwing up.

I only had that in MSIE. It's some SMF event handler screwing up. Actually should clarify that. It doesn't jump around while typing, but if you want to reposition the cursor it very rarely ends up where you point, and usually somewhere quite random. This may annoy me more than most because my thoughts are distinctly non-linear! Android 4.1.

Not really. Only noticed it on here. It's an interaction between the scripts and Android auto wrap I think, as turning either off fixes the issue. Of course, that makes browsing everywhere else painful!
