As a previous thread I was reading about the age of our forum's users I noticed that most of them does not fill in their location.

So my question is where are you from? Or where you are currently Living.

I'm from Brazil and still living here.

Sweden, though I wish I wasn't at the moment due to the half meter of snow that just fell in combination with the frequent power outages. For some weird reason people apparently use more electricity when it's -11 degrees outside. My power supplier apparently had no idea about that. It's the same for the trains, the subway and the buses. Everything is gonna collapse so spectacularly this year it's not even funny.

EDIT:

I guess this would be the perfect time for me to introduce myself, something I've been wanting to do for months, just haven't found the right moment. Tongue

Well I'm a 15 year old from New Zealand, and hopefully you will see me around the WIP section soon Cheesy

... It was a satirical version of what my power company said to the press...

It was unplanned. It seems like most of it has blown over now, but there are still short blackouts now and then. Been 4 of them in 3 days.

3 days ago the power was down for almost 5 hours for 17-22. Around 80 000 houses (including mine) had no power and the subway stood still in that area. During rush hour. The full 10 "replacement buses" for the subway (buses from other lines which obviously got canceled instead) they put in to get 100k people home from work did an outstanding job trying to make dent in the masses of people outside the subway stations despite the snow, but it 99% of the people waiting still had to just wait it out.

Yesterday we had almost half a meter of snow. I couldn't open the door from the inside due to the snow outside. It's just before my exams so there are no classes so I was at home. I then got a call from my sister saying that the buses and the subway can't move AGAIN due to the now. The garage plus the whole parking lot connected to it was full of snow and they didn't plow it until today. It took me almost 20 minutes just getting to the garage to see that there was nothing I could do at all.

Sometimes I miss Japan. They may have exploding nuclear power plants, typhoons and earthquakes, but at least the power works. Sweden has so many horrible natural disasters that you can't possibly predict and prepare for like winter and snow. Did you know parts of Sweden lie on the same latitude as Sibiria?

Yeah that was obvious. I was trying to make a joke, but according to your dotted reply, you thought I really didn't get it. Next time I'm going to add ten smileys.

Southern New Mexico, USA here. It's like Hawaii... minus the ocean... or the palm tress, or lush jungles... actually come to think of it...it's not like Hawaii at all.

It's the same here, but since you do know Japan, you know that it can absolutely be no problem if handled correctly.

West, West, Western Texas.

And yes, just like Southern New Mexico (Which is almost where I am) it bears very little relation to Hawaii. Except maybe for darker skinned natives. Does that count?

16, Michigan, in the U-S-of-A Smiley no snow yet but we're prepared in case of one of our... worst winters. *shudder* how is it even possible for 6+ feet of snow in a day?! Shocked

Busy between school, work, life, games, programming and general screwing around.
If you'd like some pixel art for your game, send me a PM, i'll see what I can do.

I am from Germany, was born in Berlin. But right now I am studying computer science in Dortmund.

I have my home in a city nearby called Hagen. There is a bit snow here too, but it is hardly noticable.
