http://www.youtube.com/v/OJORJFSWE1I?version=3&hl=en_US&start=I typically listen to ambient or minimal electronic music while I code, mostly because it tends to not have lyrics (which distract me if I'm doing anything language-based, like reading or writing), and because the music is generally unobtrusive enough to not demand a ton of my attention.

@princec Cool rhythm--not sure what it is. It adds up to 16 but has a heck of a way of getting there.
2+2+3 +2+3+4
yeah i think that is it.

Having a background as a sound engineer and music producer I can´t really listen to "great" music. That just steal all my attention and I won´t get anything done. It´s gotta be something good, but something that stays in the background...

Currently I love this one: http://coffitivity.com/. Very clamming but only work if you're alone and silent.

I listen to all sorts, I can work in silence or any type of music but recently:
David Bowie Chip tunes (Anything 8bit) Daft Punk NIN Indochine (French) ** sometimes foreign lyrics help me relax/ switch off ** Fleetwood Mac War of the Worlds Weebls Stuff DJ Shadow Classical Jazz
I often find songs off adverts adictive and put them on repeat over and over.
