48 and 60 FPS is coming for Film too
Just give it time: its a whole giant business and stuff like that does a long time to change because of technology, money and people who are like "=<"
The controversy over The Hobbit...  Emo
Pretty much... but more people will come and want to try it, and eventually it will be a standard
Of course big names help more in pushing it than some not so big names
If Nolan and others get on this, it might get there faster

Nope, from my experience with gaming (particularly with Counter-Strike: 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source), fps was only noticeably low once it dropped below about 40 fps.

There is a slight difference between 40 and 60, but most gamers will be used to this, and won't notice it Smiley

...in 3D they won't, no. But in 2D it is like a GIANT BALL OF PUS RUINING YOUR LIFE.

I don't think it would matter. But it would depend on your game. (as I haven't seen it GrinTongue
