Hi guys,
I've just joined the forums (and Java)
before I have been working in Blitzmax and Actionscript, now I've formatted my laptop, installed Xubuntu, Eclipse, openJDK, some C and python libs and I intend to start working mostly in Java for gamedev. (and to be honest to find a job  developing enterprisey stuff in Java)

I've done the LWJGL tutorials and tomorrow i'll type in the Slick2d tutorials.
after that I think i'll be back with some questions.

goodbye

That wouldn't change much. You'd still end up reading them, through unread posts. There isn't a big enough influx of members posting 'hello' to warrant a sub-forum anyway.

What I am going to do however, it inject some javascript into the [new topic] form, politely suggesting that members make their post a bit more informative Smiley

Hey riven, what about "Agree" - "Disagree" buttons? So you don't have to write it in another post... And it's much less than a medal, it's more a ... well... agree or disagree Smiley
