I'm starting over.

I think most of you share this problem with me, I cannot finish a project.
But at least this time I will post it here. I think one of the causes for that, which I dont quite want to admit is that I want to post a "good first game". I want to throw out a game and go like "BAM look at this, this shit is my first game, amazing isn't it?  Cool", I secretly dont want it to be yet another shitty minecraft clone.. and to finally end at least this problem I'm going to say it now.

Download: Windows, Mac (didn't test) works! thanks resa

Look guys, this is my first "game"  Wink

You can move around with WASD and pick up/place little stones by facing them and "right clicking". Multiplayer works at least locally (127.0.0.1). I dont know if it does via the internet, portforwarding didn't really work. Did the all the artwork by myself and must say I'm almost a little proud of it.

Anyhow, can't post another "first game" so that's off the list.
Now on to a new project, yay!

Why didn't you make this post in the 'WIP' section?

The game looks nice, but the download link doesn't work for me (Windows).

Woops, fixed the links.

I didn't post it in the WIP section because it's not work in progress, i stop working on it. Will redo it with a slightly different approach logic-wise, and also without multiplayer (that went a little over my head).

Yeah... But you don't know how much art I threw away... ... It really, really hard for me to draw these images... Blocks and stuff are easy, but the player, monsters, etc... Also, I'm not satisfied with the current look of my player...

And NO! I'm from austria! What made you think I'm from germany? I dont recall ever talking german, which ich hätte können!  Tongue
Erm... Ups, ich habe ich wahrscheinlich verwechselt Grin

I do indeed, and I'm aware that badlogicgames aka Mario is the humble creator of it.

But I used Slick2D for this specific "game", if that's what you are asking for.
