I'm pretty sure that australia generally has the worst internet. Currently yes, 5-7Mb down 0.7Mb up is a fairly great speed where I live. by about this time next year, my area will have the NBN (National Broadband Network) where they are placing fibre optic cable all around Australia. People who have it say about 120Mb down, and most Australian places cap the upload to 2Mb to what I heard, to get more then 2Mb you need to pay a whole lot more. EDIT: Their is worse places then Australia for internet for sure though, and in a few years Australia's internet will be great for download
