So, last night, I got pretty frustrated with something I was programming. Decided to relax for a while, and play a game on my phone. I ended up getting just as frustrated looking for a good game for android as I got while I was programming. After playing a bunch of games from big companies, I realized that I enjoy a game more if I can relate to the developers. I searched JGO, and only found a few games that didn't seem very serious (Tetris clones and the like.) So I was wondering if there are any particularly nice games by the JGO community that I'm overlooking. I don't even really care if it's a complete game. Demos are very welcome!

Not sure if this is the right section for this post. I saw the android section, but that seemed more focused on engines and development. Feel free to move this post to a more suitable place. Smiley

The showcase has a few, although I agree it's not very clear which games are for what platform.

I remember that bobjob was getting into android games, and I think he said he had one published. Maybe you send him a personal message and ask if he has something to show or recommend.

If you like puzzle games you can check out my one and only Android effort.

I did everything pretty much myself (coding, levels, music, graphics using  libgdx, tiled, fl studio, gimp etc) and so far proved to be a massive flop, although I have 2-3 hard-core fans out of the millions of android users out there  so all was not in vain. Cry

I have 14 games on Android.  I have 4 more games and 1 more app that I have started work on.

I use the AllBinary Platform that runs on J2ME, Android, J2SE, HTML5, Flash, and eventually Native with Avian.

Here are some of them:

Zepto Towers
 MiniSpaceWar
 ZeptoRacer
 ZeptoRacer 3D
 MiniSpaceWar Vector
 SantasWorldWar
 Obama Stimulus
 Don’t Lose Your Balls!
Zepto Wars - RTS (Art by Toke Rasmussen)
 Zepto Tanks - Multiplayer
Tank Massacre 3D (Art by Marian Fedoronko)
Neon Puck 3D (Art by Marian Fedoronko)
Evil Kitty 3D (Art by Marian Fedoronko)

None of them are hits, but I did write them all alone.

Thanks,

Travis
