Hello there =]
Im new to this forum, and kinda new to game development. Im making a simple game, and i still dont know how to use any sort of gaming API. Im making this with pure java, im kinda sure its not the best deal but its how ive found an easy way to start.
Im tryng to at first make a simple platform engine, so ill transform it into a pvp/building game, somehow a mix between terraria, age of empires and super smash bros haha
Well that sayd, im looking for developers who are intrested in such an idea , or just any good tips on what should i do. This is what i have so far:

EDIT: Updated, now the character jumps and improved collision detection, however it still bugs out sometimes
