Ok, ok. Which probably means physics and mathematics should be swapped.

Actually why not imagine instead Bill Gates giving billions of dollars to humanitarian charity.
Oh wait.

Patent trolls are disgusting.
I thought that all humans are supposed to be reasonable, and to have morals, but these things are hypocrites who do nothing but destroy progress just to make quick cash which could be easily earned by doing the real work.

Human society (and also human nature) has big forces towards an altruistic behaviour and fairness (of some extend). But like in most natural processes there are big deviations.

If we'd still live in groups where everyone knows everyone, patent trolls would soon see themselves being expelled by their community.

I'm somewhat certain though that the proposed claim will not stand a trial.

Let's be honest.  Self-interest is a much greater force in human nature than than anything nice.

I'm largely altruistic, provided I get something out of it...

Sometimes I get the feeling that you're just saying things for "seniority"...I mean seriously, you said that physics and math were the same, and then two posts later you change your opinion and say something else random.
