I would like to bring this topic up again: if nobody is going to suggest new logos, I ask you for preliminary voting - let's choose, say, 5 logos that should be on the voting list.

My favourite is the JProof #7.

Although, I also like JProof variants 2, 3, and 10.

We should pick up all the logos, which got more +1 than -1 in this thread (mostly the JProof ones I assume). If anyone feels a good logo is missing, just give a +1 to it.

So here are the logos, which would make it in the elections according to what I said above:

(Orangy Tang's snake logo doesn't exist anymore.)

Looks like a good short list to me, I vote we start a poll very soon.  It would be nice to have a cool logo up on xith.org Smiley

Wait! - what about the one that looked like a snake and used the java logo colours.  It was pretty good. I think it should be included in the poll (even though I think I might not vote for it)

As I wrote above (below all the logos) it's not accessible anymore. Here's the link: http://studenti.lboro.ac.uk/~cojc5/Temp/XithSnakeRough.png

That would be my webspace then, I cleaned it out of all the junk/temporary stuff since I needed more space. I'd totally forgotten about that.

Its pretty rough, but I've reuploaded it again, just in case:

I'll +1 for the Java Snake (OT). Although I think the others are brilliant in the classey top end logoness, I think the snake is clean and simple.

The voting should be a seperate poll. If you like I'll start it tomorrow. All the logos above (snake included) will be in the voting. If anyone feels a logo missing or a logo should not take part in the voting, today is your last chance. Grin

Concerning the poll I think we should allow voting for multiple logos. Sorry to push this topic a bit, but I think there was enough time (I hope).
