with the advent of Java 3d and OpenGL ES on MIDP2.0 handsets is there any open source group doing a J2ME game engine?

Hello,

For Java Mobile 3D (JSR84), CLDC 1.1 is needed so MIDP2.1. The floating point dilemma...
OpenGL-ES is kind about that and you could use fixed maths.

Would anybody like to put some ligth on using Sounds in MIDP 1.

Secondly if I load a sound file in InputStream object. Is that object reusable for mulitple times?

If you have anywork doone on MIDP 1 Sound's,then please send me some code so that I can continue my work  on it.
