Hi
Ok, should have tried this earlier, but it seems that background geometry in xith3d isn't mapped onto a 1 unit sphere expanded to infinity like java3d, so you have to scale any background geometry, and know your clipping distance so you can get it right, unless i'm missing something, but it seems to appear now, not sure yet what happend with other objects as they approach it, ie, do they still only get clipped at back clip distance, or do they disapear once they reach the other side of the geom etc. more investigation required, unless one of the xith team who knows what it really does wants to comment?

Cheers
Endolf, who is liking xith more and more, even with it's few issues, which are just because it's new.
