I thought this could be a neat idea: an oddball thread for people to post misc images from whatever project they've got going on. Because sometimes things are still too work-in-progress for a proper thread, but you want to share it anyway. Or maybe they never saw the light of day in the first place.

Old projects, dead projects, new projects, whatever! Just as long as it's your own and not someone elses.

I guess I'll start with this really early version of Albion:

This was back when I was trying to figure out if I could figure out a style I liked using the RLTiles character sprites. They're really cool and customisable, but I didn't like the dinky environment tiles that went with it.

I guess I'll start with something else:

Thats an Image rendered with my own ... code Cheesy It's the stanford bunny, and it uses the standard-opengl lighting Smiley
It's some time ago I wrote this... btw the model is loaded as .obj.

And a second one:

This one is using a very basic vertex and fragment shader, with one varying to "show" the values of the normals, non-interpolated Grin
Also, this time the Model is created by me in blender, exported as .obj and imported with my loader.

Speedball online lobby with customizable sprite thing in corner

Trawling through for old projects that are worth posting, this was... well to be honest I don't think I ever knew what it was going to be. Some kind of roguelike.

This will probably look like crap when your browser has upscaled it with horrible filtering.  Grin

There's almost no DDS converters for Mac/Linux, so I've started working on my own. Will be open source, and once finished will encode/decode DXT1, DXT1A, DXT3, DXT5 and hopefully the new DX10 formats as well.

Take a look at crunch which is a really impressive tool, which will include in the next release also this nice format
