So I recently built a java application that I would like to get feedback on however, I am not sure where a good place
is to go to in order to post it and get useful feedback/suggestions.

It's not a game in any way so I can't really post it here and this is the only "Big" java community that
I know of.

Any ideas?

Miscellaneous is miscellaneous.  Throw it onto github or bitbucket and post a URL to it.

I don't know about mods but I think it's fine here, especially when your app has something to do with gamedev.

Add your game by posting it in the WIP section,
or publish it in Showcase.

The first screenshot will be displayed as a thumbnail.
