Looking forward to seeing more.

Currently there is no person spawner so it is pretty easy once you get past the first lot of people. Also by the way you can place a fence by pressing F. Also currently there is no real game play but that will come soon.

I died in one second... Wait a second, are you trying to toll us? I don't think it is possible to do anything right now.

By "no gameplay", he/she meant no gameplay!  Grin

I couldn't move, tried WASD, arrow keys, and clicking anywhere. Nothing worked and died instantly like Mads.

Looks good though! Smiley

EDIT: Ohh by no gameplay you mean you can't control or do anything? Ehhhh then please don't give us a download link until you have something working Grin

It's quite alright, this is an amazing start for one so young! Smiley

This KeyListener problem is no problem to overlook. How do you set it up?

The key listener is in its Own class called KeyListen and it implements KeyListener
I then just add it by going jframe.addKeyListener(KeyListen)

I'm assuming you don't draw directly onto the JFrame, but on a component that you add to it, right? Add the listeners on that component instead.

I see plenty of cool stuff in here. I find it hard to believe you're only 14!  Shocked

Please, never ever ever stop making games and stay here to let us know what you do year after year!

Cool things:
- Yes, you can't move, but I see a solid program that works.
- It seems to be very fun!
- Bullets? That's no rookie stuff (yes, it may be simple bullets, but still !)
- Cool thing about the hearts disappearing and moving while doing so
- Has anyone seen the inventory? I liked the paning effect. A lot!
- Solid GUI (yes, everything can be improved, but still looks nice, it's smooth, works fine...)

Not so cool:
- The windows size for me was odd, the frame was way bigger than the playable area (noticed by the GUI limits being in the middle of the frame)
- KeyListener troubles (but you'll fix this in no time with ra4king's help Smiley )
- One thing is making a game hard, but another thing is massacratin the players from the very beginning, at least add a way to restart instead of exiting and running again the jar.
- May be another things Tongue

Anyway, all cons are fixable, so keep it up, you're on the right track!

BTW, how long have you been programming? How long took you to make what you have so far?

Thanks
yeah the big thing i need to figure out is how make it fun but still hard.

Can you please explain what you mean by the frame is bigger than the playable area?

I have been programming since i was 12, though i only started coding with Java in the last 7 weeks or so.

This current game has taken me about 3 weeks so far and i only have had after school to work on it.

It's a nice twist, being the zombie instead of the human.
Started coding at age 12? Me too  Grin , except I'm 13.
To make the game harder:
-zombies affected by sunlight
-hostile creatures besides zombies and humans
-energy level

Sorry for the delay Smiley

Here's a screen of what I meant:

See the GUI? It's in the "middle" instead of the frame's border. I didn't rezise the window, I didn't even tried to do so, I just double clicked the Jar and that's what I see (including the you have died lol, I can't even see myself!)
