There actually is a really cool applet based game that is similar, Rollerboy2.

It doesn't seem to have sound though. I've played it many many times, fun for me.

I was very impressed with this Shockwave game.  It loaded extremely fast, features multiple levels, creatures, and decent collision detection.  The only thing it lacks is sound.

I'm hoping to blow both Playdo Chrstmas and Rollerboy2 completely out of the water with my Jumping Jimmy project. If anyone is interested come by http://www.scottshaver2000.com/forum to see the progress.
