Hello, *first post*

So I have been thinking over what language language I wanted to use and get more advanced in so I can make my first games. After a while I decided on Java. I was wondering, what APIs/tricks of the trade/things to avoid/good tutorial series any of you have. Thanks in advance.

Coke and Code is the best start I think, take a look at the tutorials over there.

Oh and welcome to JGO ! Nice to have you here Smiley

The Java Hub tutorials are more newbie friendly than the coke and code tutorials: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6E90696571998DC2

Hmm. I will check it out. I personally quite like the style of coke and code, figuring out what goes where a bit more, but there is nothing that I would lose from checking this out.

Thanks both for your help
